Guruprasad HL (IIS:2012) has been appointed as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to Pralhad Joshi, Minister for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (11.11.2024), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal to appoint Mr Guruprasad to the post with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post on co-terminus basis with the Minister or till he ceases to function as OSD to the Minister or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
