Gujarat: Vijay Nehra relieved for central deputation, Mona K Khandhar is new PS, Science & Technology

The Gujarat government on 26 October relieved senior IAS officer Vijay Nehra for central deputation, subsequently assigning his responsibilities to another IAS officer. Additionally, a new set of responsibilities was bestowed upon yet another IAS officer.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. Vijay Nehra (IAS:2001:GJ), Secretary, Science & Technology Department, Gandhinagar, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of Government of India for appointment as Senior Directing Staff (CS), National Defence College (NDC) under the Ministry of Defence for a tenure of five years.
2. Mona K Khandhar (IAS:1996:GJ), Principal Secretary, Panchayats, Rural Housing & Rural Development, has been assigned additional charge of the post of Principal Secretary, Science & Technology Department, Gandhinagar.
3. Supreet Singh Gulati (IAS:2008:GJ), Chief Executive Officer, Development Support Agency of Gujarat (D-SAG), Gandhinagar, has been assigned additional charge of post of Chief Executive Officer, Special Project (Dholera SIR & Mandal-Bechari SIR), Gandhinagar.
