Gujarat: Three IAS officers shifted; Hareet Shukla posted as Chief Electoral Officer

The Gujarat government on Saturday (29.06.2024) issued transfer and posting orders for three IAS officers.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Hareet Shukla (IAS:1999:GJ), Principal Secretary (Tourism, Devasthanam Management, Civil Aviation & Pilgrimage), Industries & Mines Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar, has been trasferred and posted as Chief Electoral Officer. He will also be Ex-Officio Principal Secretary, GAD (Election).
2. PD Palsana (IAS:2012:GJ), Joint Chief Electoral Officer, has been transferred and posted as Joint Secretary, Agriculture, Farmers Welfare & Co-operation Department.
3. BH Talati (IAS-SCS:2010:GJ), Additional Secretary, Climate Change Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of Panchayats, Rural Housing & Rural Development Department for appointment as Special Director, State Institute of Rural Development (SIRD), Ahmedabad.
