The Gujarat government on Friday (24.01.2025) appointed senior IAS officer Pankaj Joshi (IAS:1989:GJ) as new Chief Secretary of the state. He will replace the outgoing Chief Secretary Raj Kumar (IAS:1987:GJ), who is retiring from the service on January 31. Presently, Joshi is serving as Additional Chief Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).
