Gujarat: 10 IAS officers shifted; 4 Districts get new Collectors

The Gujarat government on Tuesday (06.08.2024) issued transfer and posting orders for 10 IAS officers. In this reshuffle, the state government deputed new Collectors in four Districts: Sabarkantha-Himmatnagar, Narmada-Rajpipla, Valsad, and Porbandar.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Dr. Ratankanvar H Gadhavicharan (IAS:2009:GJ), State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, Gandhinagar, has been transferred and posted as Collector, Sabarkantha-Himmatnagar.
2. Sujeet Kumar (IAS:2010:GJ), on repatriation to the state cadre, has been posted as Municipal Commissioner, Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation, Bhavnagar.
3. Shweta Teotia (IAS:2011:GJ), Collector, Narmada-Rajpipla, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of Energy & Petrochemicals Department for appointment as Director (Administration), Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited, Vadodara.
4. K D Lakhani (IAS-SCS:2011:GJ), Collector, Porbandar, has been transferred and posted as Director, Labour, Gandhinagar.
5. SK Modi (IAS-SCS:2012:GJ), District Development Officer, Gandhinagar, has been transferred and posted as Collector, Narmada-Rajpipla.
6. NN Dave (IAS-SCS:2012:GJ), Collector, Sabarkantha-Himmatnagar, has been transferred and posted as Collector, Valsad.
7. SD Dhanani (IAS-SCS:2012:GJ), District Development Officer, Devbhumi-Dwarka, has been transferred and posted as Collector, Porbandar.
8. NV Upadhyay (IAS:2013:GJ), Municipal Commissioner, Bhavnagar, has been transferred and posted as Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Gandhinagar.
9. Lalit Narayan Singh Sandu (IAS:2015:GJ), Managing Director, Gujarat State Handloom and Handicraft Development Corporation Ltd., Gandhinagar, has been transferred and posted as State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, Gandhinagar with additional charge of Managing Director, Gujarat State Handloom and Handicraft Development Corporation Ltd., Gandhinagar.
10. BJ Patel (IAS-SCS:2016:GJ), Additional Inspector General of Registration, Vadodara Zone, Vadodara, has been transferred and posted as District Development Officer, Gandhinagar.
