Govt nominates Shanti Lal Jain as Nominee Director and Non-executive Chairman on Board of Universal Sompo General Insurance Company Limited

The central government has nominated Shanti Lal Jain as government Nominee Director and Non-executive Chairman on the Board of Directors of Universal Sompo General Insurance Company Limited. According to a notification issued by the Department of Financial Services, he has been appointed to the post for a period up to 31.08.2024 or until further orders, whichever is earlier. He is currently serving as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Indian Bank.
