The central government on Monday (26.09.2022) promoted Ajay Kumar Srivastava, Executive Director of Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) as the public sector lender’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer for a period of three years w.e.f. January 01, 2023. Further, the Union government has re-appointed Mr. Srivastava as ED for a period beyond his current notified term which expires on October 8, until he assumes the charge as MD and CEO, IOB said in a regulatory filing. The current MD and CEO Partha Pratim Sengupta’s tenure ends on December 31, 2022.
