Govt approves appointment of ten railway GMs

The Narendra Modi government on Thursday approved appointments of ten general managers in the Indian Railways.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. Rajiv Kumar Vyas (IRSS) : GM, Rail Wheel Factory, Yelhanka.
2. John Thomas (IRSEE) : GM, Southern Railway, Chennai.
3. Suneet Sharma (IRSME) : GM, Eastern Railway, Howrah.
4. G Banerjee (IRSEE) : GM, South East Central Railway, Bilaspur.
5. R Gupta (IRSME) : GM, Rail Coach Factory, Kapoorthala.
6. Sanjeev Mittal (IRSE) : GM, Central Railway, Mumbai.
7. V M Srivastva (IRSEE) : GM, Modern Coach Factory, Rae Bareli.
8. Sanjay Kumar Mohanty (IRTS) : GM, South Eastern Railway, Garden Reach, Kolkata.
9. Anand Prakash (IRSE) : GM, North Western Railway, Jaipur.
10. Y P Singh (IRSSE) : GM, CORE, Allahabad.
