Govt announces empanelment and posting of five IRMS officers as General Managers

The central government on Friday (17.03.2023) empanelled and appointed five IRMS officers to level 16 posts. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Railways for the empanelment and appointment of the following officers to the post of General Manager.

They are;

1. Basudev Panda (IRSEE:1986) has been appointed as General Manager, Banaras Locomotive Works, Varanasi.
2. Shobhan Chaudhuri (IRSSE:1986) has been appointed as Secretary, Railway Board and GM, Northern Railway w.e.f. 01.04.2023.
3. S K Jha (IRSE:1986) has been appointed as General Manager, North East Frontier Railway (Construction), Guwahati.
4. PUK Reddy (IRSME:1986) has been appointed as General Manager, Kolkata Metro Railway.
5. P K Mishra (IRSME:1986) has been appointed as General Manager, Modern Coach factory, Rae Bareli.
