Govindarajan Appakkannu (IPoS:2000) has been designated as the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) for the NLC India (NLCIL), Neyveli, which falls under the Ministry of Coal. This appointment is effective for a duration of three years, as indicated in an official order released by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday, September 15, 2023. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has granted approval for Mr. Appakkannu’s appointment, commencing from the date he assumes charge of the position or until further directives are issued, whichever comes first.
