Goa: IAS Mamu Hage relieved, Sneha S Gitte is new Collector, North

The Goa government has taken steps to relieve IAS officer Mamu Hage from her role as Collector, North, enabling her to move to Arunachal Pradesh. This relocation was carried out in accordance with the order issued by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs on June 8, 2023, which directed her transfer to Arunachal Pradesh.

The Goa government has taken steps to relieve IAS officer Mamu Hage from her role as Collector, North, enabling her to move to Arunachal Pradesh. This relocation was carried out in accordance with the order issued by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs on June 8, 2023, which directed her transfer to Arunachal Pradesh. In conjunction with this change, three other IAS officers have been reassigned. To assume the role of Collector of North, Sneha S Gitte has been appointed.

They are;

  1. Mamu Hage (IAS:2017:AGMUT), who was serving as the Collector of North, has been relieved from her position to assume her new posting in Arunachal Pradesh.
  2. Sneha S Gitte (IAS:2019:AGMUT:2019) has been appointed as the new Collector of North. In addition to this role, she has been assigned the additional responsibilities of Director (Environment) and Member Secretary of the Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority.
  3. Prasad Lolayekar (IAS:2014:AGMUT), who was previously the Secretary of Education with an additional charge of Director, Higher Education, has been given the additional charge of Director, Vigilance.
  4. Ankita Mishra(IAS:2018:AGMUT), who was serving as the Special Secretary of Revenue, has been transferred and posted as the Commissioner of Excise. In addition to this role, she has been entrusted with the additional responsibility of Chief Executive Officer of the Entertainment Society of Goa.
