Ghanshyam Prasad appointed as Govt Nominee Director on the Board of Power Grid

Ghanshyam Prasad (CPES:1989) has been appointed as the Government Nominee Director on the Board of Power Grid. According to an order issued from the Ministry of Power, Prasad has been appointed on the Board of Power Grid for a period of three years with effect from December 21, 2021, until further orders whichever is earlier. This information has been shared by the Power Grid in a regulatory filing to the stock exchanges on Tuesday.

Presently, he is serving as Joint Secretary (OM, Transmission & R&R) in the Ministry of Power.
