Geetu Makhija appointed OSD to Vice Chairperson of NITI Aayog

Geetu Makhija has been appointed as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to Dr. Suman K Berry, Vice Chairperson in the NITI Aayog. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (25.03.2025), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved appointment of Mr Makhija on contract basis for a period upto 29.08.2027 (i.e. for the balance period of her tenure of four years as OSD) or on co-terminus basis with the Vice Chairperson, NITI Aayog or till she ceases to function as OSD to Vice Chairperson, NITI Aayog or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
