Four serving DGs at centre get Apex Pay Scale

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet on Tuesday (01.03.2022) granted Apex Pay Scale to four DG rank IPS officers serving at Centre.

They are :

1. Mohammad Taj Hassan (IPS:1987:AGMUT), DG, Fire Services, Civil Defence & Home Guards (retiring on December 31, 2023)
2. Santosh Mehra (IPS:1987:AP), DG (Investigation), National Human Rights Commission (retiring on February 28, 2023)
3. Arun Kumar Sinha (IPS:1987:KL), Director, Special Protection Group (retiring on May 31, 2023)
4. Sanjay Chander (IPS:1987:WB), DG, Railway Protection Force (retiring on July 31, 2023).
