The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet on Tuesday (01.03.2022) granted Apex Pay Scale to four DG rank IPS officers serving at Centre.
They are :
- Mohammad Taj Hassan (IPS:1987:AGMUT), DG, Fire Services, Civil Defence & Home Guards (retiring on December 31, 2023)
- Santosh Mehra (IPS:1987:AP), DG (Investigation), National Human Rights Commission (retiring on February 28, 2023)
- Arun Kumar Sinha (IPS:1987:KL), Director, Special Protection Group (retiring on May 31, 2023)
- Sanjay Chander (IPS:1987:WB), DG, Railway Protection Force (retiring on July 31, 2023).
