Four IPS officers promoted to IG rank in CAPFs/CPOs

The central government on Tuesday filled four Inspector General (IG) posts in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Central Police Organizations (CPOs). The officers, previously serving as Deputy Inspectors General (DIGs) in CAPFs/CPOs, have been promoted and posted at the IG level. Their promotions follow recent empanelment (January 2) to hold IG-level positions at the Centre.

The names of the officers;

1. Parul Kush (IPS:2004:WB) has been promoted as IG, SSB
2. Shashank Anand (IPS:2006:HY) has been promoted as IG, BSF
3. Rajendra Narayan Das (IPS:2006:CH) has been promoted as IG, CRPF
4. Rani Bindu (IPS:2006:HP) has been promoted as IG, BPR&D
