Former IAS officer Amit Khare (Retd IAS:1985:JH) was on Tuesday (12.10.2021) appointed as Advisor to the Prime Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Mr Khare initially for a period of two years or until further orders.
Prior to his retirement in September as Secretary, Higher Education, Khare also held the additional charge of the post of Secretary, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting.
