Five Judicial and Four Administrative Members Appointed to Central Administrative Tribunal

The ACC approves appointment of five Judicial and four Administrative Members to the Central Administrative Tribunal for a four-year term.

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) on Wednesday (August 20, 2025) approved the appointment of five Judicial Members and four Administrative Members to the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT). The appointments, cleared on the recommendation of the Search-cum-Selection Committee, will be for a tenure of four years or until the appointees attain the age of 67 years, whichever is earlier.

Judicial Members:

  1. Justice Biren A Vaishnav, Former Judge, High Court of Gujarat
  2. Diwakar Singh, ILS, Former Additional Secretary, Department of Legal Affairs, GoI
  3. Justice Narendra Kumar Johari, Former Judge, High Court of Allahabad
  4. Justice Navneet Kumar, Former Judge, Jharkhand High Court
  5. Justice Ritu Tagore, Former Judge, High Court of Punjab & Haryana

Administrative Members:

  1. Braj Mohan Agrawal (IRSME:1986), Former Member (Traction & Rolling Stock), Railway Board
  2. Manju Pandey (IPoS:1989), Former Director General, Postal Services, Department of Posts
  3. Sanjiv Kumar (IAS:1992:1992), Former Addl. Chief Secretary-cum-Commissioner (F&S) and Chairman, DPCC, GNCTD
  4. Vijoy Kumar Singh (IAS:1990:PB), Former Special Chief Secretary, Government of Punjab
