The Jammu and Kashmir government, on Thursday, transferred as many as five IPS officers in the state.
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :
1. V K Singh (IPS:1987:JK) : DGP (Prisons) and will continue to hold the charge of the post of Director, F&ES, J&K.
2. Satish Khandaree (IPS:1995:JK) : IGP (Prisons).
3. Vijay Kumar (IPS:1997:JK) : IGP (Armed), Kashmir.
4. Sujit Kumar (IPS:2007:JK) : DIG, Udhampur-Reasi Range,
5. Vivek Gupta (IPS:2007:JK) : DIG, Rajouri-Poonch Range given additional charge of DIG, Jammu-Samba-Kathua Range.
