The Ministry of Home Affairs issued a promotion order on Wednesday for five IPS officers currently serving as Superintendent of Police (SP) in the National Investigation Agency (NIA). They have been promoted to the rank of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) against existing vacancies, for a combined tenure of 5 years (SP+DIG) from the date of assuming the post or until further orders.
The promoted officers are:
- V Vikraman (IPS:2010:TN)
- Rajiv Omprakash Pande (IPS:2010:AGMUT)
- Dhrunman H Nimbale (IPS:2010:PB)
- Rakash Roushan (IPS:2010:PB)
- Santosh Kumar Meena (IPS:2010:AGMUT)
