Five Additional Judges of Gauhati HC made Permanent Judges

The Union government on Friday (28.07.2023) notified the appointment of five Additional Judges of the Gauhati High Court as Permanent Judges of that High Court with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices.

These five judges are ;

1. Justice Kakheto Sema
2. Justice Devashis Baruah
3. Justice Malasri Nandi
4. Justice Marli Vankung
5. Justice Arun Dev Choudhury

The Supreme Court Collegium had approved the proposal for appointing the three Additional Judges of Gauhati High Court as Permanent Judges of the Court vide notification dated July 12, 2023.
