Bijay Kumar Singh (IPS:1996:KN), who held the position of Executive Director (Pers) (JS level) in the Food Corporation of India, has been repatriated to his parent cadre ahead of his scheduled term. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, this action was taken in response to the Department of Food and Public Distribution’s proposal, which was approved by the competent authority. The repatriation was based on the grounds of Mr. Singh availing promotion within his cadre.
