Former Haryana Chief Secretary TVSN Prasad (Retd.IAS:1988:HY) and academician Sitharamam Kakarla have been appointed professors at Hyderabad-based Nalsar University of Law. As per reports, they will be teaching law, economics, public policy and human rights to the university students.
Hailing the twin appointments, Nalsar University vice chancellor Srikrishna Deva Rao said: “These two appointments add great value to the academic world of NALSAR, especially in the areas of teaching and research in law, human rights, and public policy in the coming years.”
Prasad has been a veteran civil servant from Haryana cadre with vast experience in public administration, spanning over 37 years, including stints at the World Bank and public and private sectors. He has joined Nalsar as a professor of economics and public policy.
Similarly, Sitharamam is a distinguished academician with an LLM in human rights law from the University of Nottingham.
