Former Andhra IPS officer AB Venkateswara Rao sets out on a political journey with a mission. Though, he is yet to decide which party he will be joining, his goal is set –never to allow former Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy to return to power in the state again. He promises to fight for justice for all victims of Reddy’s administration by launching a “Jagan Never Again” campaign highlighting the hardship suffered by people during his regime.
For this purpose, Rao recently visited the family of Kodikathi Sreenu (Jallipalli Srinivas) in Mummidivaram constituency and described Kodikathi Sreenu’s case as a “classic example” of Reddy’s character. “He crushed the life of a Dalit youth who was ready to sacrifice his life for him, showing no mercy,” Venkateswara Rao reportedly alleged. He vowed to prevent Jagan Mohan Reddy from returning to power.
The former IPS officer promised to hire a lawyer to help Sreenu’s case move forward.
He said that his goal is to help the young man restart his life and enable his family to live with dignity again. This is only a stopover as he plans to gather all possible victims of Reddy’s administration and turn them into anti-Reddy crusaders.
