Dr. Vivek Joshi (IAS:1989:HY) was on Tuesday (05.10.2021) assigned additional charge of the post of Secretary, Department of Border Management. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), he has been assigned additional charge of the post till the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Presently, he is serving as Registrar General and Census Commissioner under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
