Dr. Tapan Biswas, IG, (Medical), has been empanelled for promoted to the grade of Additional Director General (ADG) (Medical) in the Combined Medical Cadre of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), National Security Guards (NSGs) & Assam Rifles (ARs). According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (24.04.2023), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal to empanel Mr. Biswas for promotion to the grade of ADG (Medical) in CAPFs, NSGs & ARs in level-15 of the pay matrix for the panel year 2023.
