Dr. Srivari Chandrasekhar was on Saturday (04.12.2021) appointed to the post of Secretary, Department of Science & Technology (DST) for a period of two years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), he has been appointed to the post for a period of two years with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post or till attaining the age of 60 years or until further orders, whichever is the earliest. Presently, he is serving as Director, Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR)-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IITC), Hyderabad.
