Senior diplomat Dr. Neena Malhotra (IFS:1992) was on Thursday (24.10.2024) appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Kingdom of Sweden. Presently, she is serving as Officer on Special Duty in the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and is expected to take up the assignment shortly.
In a statement, the MEA said,”Dr. Neena Malhotra (IFS:1992), presently Officer on Special Duty in the Ministry, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Kingdom of Sweden.”
“She is expected to take up the assignment shortly,” the statement added.
Prevously she has served as the Indian Ambassador to Italy, the Republic of San Marino, and the United Nations Organisations in Rome.
