Dinesh Rana appointed as IG, CRPF

IPS officer Dinesh Rana (IPS:1996:AGMUT/JK:1996) has been appointed as Inspector General (IG) in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) for a period of five years. According to an order issueb the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Wednesday (12.04.2023), the competent authority has approved the appointment of Mr. Rana to the post for a period of five years from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
