The deputation tenure of two IPS officers working in the CBI as DIG and SP has been extended. The competent authority approved the extensions on Thursday (16.05.2024).
They are;
- Dr. Sonal Chandra‘s (IPS:2008:TN) deputation tenure as DIG in CBI has been extended for one year beyond 30.06.2024 i.e. from 01.07.2024 to 30.06.2025 (6 years in total).
- Murali Rambha‘s (IPS:2011:TN) deputation tenure as SP in CBI has been extended for two years beyond 07.07.2024 i.e. from 08.07.2024 to 07.07.2026 (7 years in total).
