Deputation tenure of Prashant Kumar Jha as OSD to MoS Dr. Jitendra Singh extended

The deputation tenure of Prashant Kumar Jha (IRS-C&CE:2008) as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of State (I/C) for Science & Technology has been extended beyond September 25, 2023. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (09.05.2023), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Department of Science & Technology to extend the deputation tenure of Mr. Jha beyond 25.09.2023 and till the period on co-terminus basis with the Minister in relaxation of maximum limit of five years of working as PS/OSD to a Minister or till he ceases to function as OSD to the Minister or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
