Delhi Police reshuffle: LG assigns new roles to 8 IPS, 3 DANIPS officers

The Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena on Thursday (26.12.2024) enacted a reshuffle in the Delhi Police, assigning new responsibilities to eight IPS officers and three DANIPS officers.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows

1. Abhishek Dhania (IPS:2012:AGMUT), DCP, North-West Delhi, has been transferred and posted as DCP, East District.
2. Apporva Gupta (IPS:2012:AGMUT), DCP, East District, has been transferred and posted as DCP, Crime.
3. Bhisham Singh (IPS:2012:AGMUT), DCP, Crime, has been transferred and posted as DCP, North-West District.
4. Rakesh Paweria (IPS:2012:AGMUT), DCP, North-East Delhi, has been transferred and posted as DCP, Hqrs.
5. Ashish Kumar Mishra (IPS:2013:AGMUT), Addl. DCP, Central District, has been transferred and posted as DCP, North-East Delhi.
6. Neha Yadav (IPS:2015:AGMUT) has been posted as Additional DCP, Shahdara District (Cancelling her posting as Additional DCP, Rohini District).
7. Ms. Sandhya Swamy (IPS:2016:AGMUT), Additional DCP, North-West District, has been transferred and posted as DCP, Traffic.
8. Vishnu Kumar (IPS:2016:AGMUT), Additional DCP, Shahdara District, has been transferred and posted as Additional DCP, Rohini District.
9. Subodh Kumar Goswami (DANIPS:2010), Additional DCP, North-East District, has been transferred and posted as DCP, 8th Battalion, DAP.
10. Sandeep Lamba (DANIPS:2011) has been posted as Additional DCP, North East District.
11. Manish Jorwal (DANIPS:2014), ACP, Special Cell, has been transferred and posted as Addl. DCP, North West District (Current Duty Charge).
