Delhi: Major Reshuffle in MCD, DC level officers shifted

In a significant development, more than half a dozen MCD Zonal Deputy Commissioners (DCs) have been transferred. Two IAS officers from the 2020 AGMUT batch, who were awaiting posting orders, have been appointed as new DCs in the MCD.

Recently, the Delhi government transferred IAS officers Namgyal Angmo (IAS:2020:AGMUT) and Navneet Mann (IAS:2020:AGMUT) to the MCD. Angmo has been posted as Deputy Commissioner of the Najafgarh zone, while Mann has been appointed as Deputy Commissioner of the Rohini zone.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Angel Bhati Chauhan (IAS:2014:AGMUT), Deputy Commissioner, Central Zone (CNZ), has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, West Zone.
2. Vandana Rao (IAS:2015:AGMUT), Deputy Commissioner, Keshav Puram Zone (KPZ), has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, City-SP Zone (CSPZ).
3. Kumar Abhishek (IAS:2016:AGMUT), Deputy Commissioner, South Zone (SZ), has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, Central Zone (CNZ).
4. Namgyal Angmo (IAS:2020:AGMUT), awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner, Najafgarh Zone (NGZ).
5. Navneet Mann (IAS:2020:AGMUT), awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner, Rohini Zone (RZ).
6. Sandeep Kumar (IRTS), Deputy Commissioner, West Zone (WZ), has been posted as Deputy Commissioner, Keshav Puram Zone (KPZ).
7. Badal Kumar (ISS:2010), Deputy Commissioner, Labour with additional charge of Deputy Commissioner, Najafgarh Zone (NGZ), DC FL and CL&EC, PM Vishwakarma, PM Swanidhi, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, South Zone (SZ).
8. Amit Kumar, Director (P&I, P&S), DC (Advt. & RP Cell), has been transferred and posted as Director (P&I, P&S), & DC (Labour, FL and CL&EC).
9. Mohit Bansal (ITS), Deputy Commissioner (LAC), City-SP Zone (CSPZ), has been transferred and posted as DC (Advt. & RP Cell), PM Vishwakarma and PM Swanidhi.
