The Delhi government on Tuesday (18.06.2024) relieved senior IAS officer Gyanesh Bharti (IAS:1998:AGMUT) from his duty as Commissioner of Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) and made his services available to the Government of India. This move enables him to be appointed as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Women & Child Development. The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) had issued an order on March 13, approving his central deputation and selecting him for the aforementioned position.
