Delhi: Civil Services Board approves Ashish More’s transfer

The Civil Services Board (CSB) of the Delhi government on Wednesday (17.05.2023) approved the proposal to replace Ashish Madhaorao More (IAS:2005:AGMUT) with Anil Kumar Singh (IAS:1995:AGMUT) as Secretary in the Services Department.

The Civil Services Board (CSB) of the Delhi government on Wednesday (17.05.2023) approved the proposal to replace Ashish Madhaorao More (IAS:2005:AGMUT) with Anil Kumar Singh (IAS:1995:AGMUT) as Secretary in the Services Department. After the Supreme Court’s recent verdict giving executive control of services matters to the elected government, the CSB met for the first time.

Singh is currently serving as Principal Secretary, Environment and Forest Department, and also holds the additional charge of Commissioner in the Development Department. More will continue to hold the charge of Staff Officer to the Chief Secretary and additional charge of Secretary, GAD. Accepting the CSB’s proposal to replace More with Singh, the Delhi government sent the file to LG VK Saxena for his approval. Once given go-ahead by the LG, the government will issue an order.
