The central government has effected a major reshuffle in Delhi police by transferring as many as eight IPS officers on Tuesday.
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :
- Deepak Purohit (IPS:2007:AGMUT), DCP, West Distt. has been promoted and posted as Additional Commissioner of Police, PHQ.
- Chinmoy Biswal (IPS:2008:AGMUT), DCP, PHQ, has been transferred and posted as DCP, Crime.
- Gaurav Sharma (IPS:2009:AGMUT), DCP, Outer-North Distt. has been transferred and posted as DCP, Security.
- Rajeev Ranjan (IPS:2010:AGMUT), on arrival from Arunachal Pradesh, has been deputed to Delhi as DCP, Outer- North Distt.
- Esha Pandey (IPS:2010:AGMUT), on arrival from Arunachal Pradesh, has been deputed to Delhi as DCP, PCR.
- Urvija Goel (IPS:2011:AGMUT), DCP, EOW, has been transferred and posted as DCP, West Distt.
- Ghanshyam Bansal (IPS:2011:AGMUT), Addl. DCP-I, Outer-North Distt, has been transferred and posted as DCP, Traffic.
- Manoj C (IPS:2011:AGMUT), on arrival from A&NI, has been deputed to Delhi as Addl. DCP-I, Outer-North Distt.
