If sources are to be believed,Deepak Kumar (IAS:1984: BH) is viewed as the most prospective successor to Bihar Chief Secretary Anjani Kumar Singh who is scheduled to retire in February 2018.Deepak kumar is presently posted as Chairman, National Highways Authority of India (NHAI)Ministry of Road, Transport and Highways Government of India.Kumar had earlier served as the Principal Secretary to Nitish Kumar and he shares good chemistry with him.
