Deepak Gupta was on Friday (11.02.2022) appointed to the post of Director (Projects), GAIL (India) Limited for a period of five years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas to appoint Gupta for a period of five years with effect from the date of his assumption of charge of the post, or till the date of his superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Presently, he is serving as Executive Director (ED), Engineers India Limited
