The Central government on Friday (November 7, 2025) assigned additional charges to two senior IAS officers during the leave period of incumbent secretaries.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Ms Debashree Mukherjee (IAS:1991:AGMUT), Secretary in the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, has been given additional charge of Secretary, Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) from November 8 to November 16, 2025, during the leave of Subhas Chandra Lal Das (IAS:1992:AGMUT).
Similarly, Vineet Joshi (IAS:1992:MN), Secretary in the Department of Higher Education, has been entrusted with the additional charge of Secretary, Department of School Education & Literacy for the same period, November 8 to November 16, 2025, during the leave of Sanjay Kumar (IAS:1990:BH).
