Former Haryana chief Secretary D S Dhesi (Retd.IAS:1982:HY) was on wednesday appointed as chairman of Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission (HERC). He replaces Jagjeet Singh whose term ends on August 12, 2019.
He will have a tenure of five years or upto the age of 65 years whichever is earlier. The Commission comprises of one Chairman and two members.
Dhesi had retired as chief secretary in June this year.
