D Porpathasekaran has been appointed as Director (Technical), Telecommunications Consultants India Limited (TCIL), for a period of five years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (01.09.2022), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of Department of Telecommunications to appoint Mr. Porpathasekaran to the post for five years with effect from the date of his assumption of charge of the post, or till the date of his superannuation, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Presently, Porpathasekaran is serving as Executive Director (IT&Telecom), TCIL.
