Collegium recommends name of Justice R S Chauhan as Chief Justice of Telangana HC

The Supereme Court Collegium has recommended the appointment of Justice R.S. Chauhan as Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court. He is the senior-most Judge from Rajasthan High Court and at present is functioning in Telangana High Court as Acting Chief Justice.

Justice RS Chauhan had taken over as the Acting Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court in March this year, following the transfer of erstwhile Chief Justice Thottathil B Radhakrishnan to the Calcutta High Court.
