The Supreme Court Collegium has passed a resolution recommending that six additional judges of the Madras High Court be made permanent judges.
They are :
1. Justice V. Bhavani Subbaroyan
2. Justice A.D. Jagadish Chandira
3. Justice G.R. Swaminathan
4. Justice Abdul Quddhose
5. Justice M. Dhandapani and
6. Justice P.D. Audikesavalu.
