Senior Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer V Srinivasa Rao (IFS:1990:CG) has been promoted and appointed as the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) of Chhattisgarh. The state government issued an order on Monday to grant him full charge of this important position. Prior to this appointment, he was serving as the Incharge PCCF since May 2, after taking over from the incumbent PCCF Sanjay Shukla (IFS:1987:CG) following his voluntary retirement from service.
