The Chhattisgarh government on Tuesday (02.07.2024) issued a promotion order elevating two senior IPS officers to the rank of Director General of Police (Level 16 in the Pay Matrix).
They are;
- Arun Dev Gautam (IPS:1992:CG)
- Himanshu Gupta (IPS:1994:CG)
Arun Dev Gautam is ADGP rank officer and currently holds the position of Secretary Home, Jail and Transport department, while Himanshu Gupta serves as ADGP, Administration.
