Chhattisgarh: 12 IPS officers promoted, 3 to IG rank, 9 to DIG rank

The Chhattisgarh government has recently announced promotions for 12 IPS officers, with 3 officers elevated to the rank of Inspector General (IG) and 9 officers promoted to Deputy Inspector General (DIG).

The IPS officers promoted to the IG rank include:

1. Mayank Srivastava (IPS:2006:CG)– Presently serving as Commissioner-cum-Director, Public Relations
2. Rajendra Narayan Das (IPS:2006:CG)– Presently serving as DIG, Special Intelligence Branch/Anti-Naxal Operation, PHQ, Raipur.
3. BS Dhruv (IPS:2006:CG)– Presently serving as DIG, Chhattisgarh Armed Force (CAF), PHQ, Raipur.

The IPS officers promoted to the DIG rank include:

1. Abhishek Meena (IPS:2010:CG)– Presently serving as Assistant IG, PHQ, Raipur.
2. Sadanand Kumar (IPS:2010:CG)– Presently serving as SP, Balodabazar.
3. Girija Shankar Jaiswal (IPS:2010:CG)– Presently serving as SP, Mungeli.
4. Sujeet Kumar (IPS:2010:CG)– Presently serving as Commandant, 10th Battalion, CAF, Surajpur.
5. ML Kotwani (IPS:2010:CG)– Presently serving as Assistant IG (Security) Special Branch, PHQ, Raipur.
6. M R Ahire (IPS:2010:CG)– Presently serving as SP, Surajpur.
7. Arvind Kujur (IPS:2010:CG)– Presently serving as Commandant, 3rd Battalion, Amleshwar, Durg.
8. Shankar Lal Baghel (IPS:2010:CG)– Presently serving as Commandant, CTJW College, Kanker.
9. Dukhuram Anchala (IPS:2010:CG)– Presently serving as Commandant, 14th Battalion, CAF, Balod.
