Chandra Prakash Goyal appointed as DGF&SS, MoEF&CC

Chandra Prakash Goyal (IFoS:1986:UP) was on Monday (27.12.2021) appointed to the post of Director General of Forests & Special Secretary (DGF&SS) in the Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Goyal has been appointed to the post for a period from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Presently, he is serving as Joint Secretary, Department of Biotechnology.
