Following the appointment of T C Nautiyal (IFS:2003:AGMUT) and Khushpreet Kaur (DANICS:2020) to the UT Administration, a significant departmental reshuffle has been implemented aiming at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of various departments within the administration.
These changes are as follows:
- T C Nautiyal (IFS:2003:AGMUT) has been given the responsibilities of Chief Conservator of Forests, Chief Wildlife Warden, Secretary of Science and Technology, and Head of the Department for Forest and Wildlife.
- Arulrajan P (IFS:2009:AGMUT) has been entrusted with the roles of Conservator of Forests, Deputy Conservator of Forests for HQ and Wildlife, Deputy Conservator of Forests for Botanical Garden and Nature Reserve, Director for Science and Technology and Renewable Energy, Member-Secretary for CPCC, and Special Secretary for Water Resources.
- Rupesh Kumar (IAS:2019:AGMUT) has been assigned the following roles: Additional Deputy Commissioner, Secretary of the Red Cross Society, Secretary of the State Transport Authority, Special Excise and Taxation Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner-cum-Collector for Excise, Special Secretary of the House Allotment Committee, Registrar of Cooperative Societies, and Secretary of the Agriculture Marketing Board.
- Amit Kumar (DANICS) has been assigned the responsibilities of Chief General Manager for CITCO and Director of Hospitality.
- Nitish Singla (PCS) has been designated Director of Industries, General Manager of the Districts Industries Centre, Joint Secretary for Industries, Director of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries, Director of Food and Supplies and Consumer Affairs and Legal Metrology, and Joint Secretary for Employment and Regional Employment Officer.
- Sumeet Sihag (HCS) has been assigned the roles of Director of Information Technology, Joint Secretary for Coordination, and Joint Secretary for Housing.
- Khushpreet Kaur (DANICS:2020) has been appointed as SDM (EAST).
