The Chandigarh Administration has relieved IAS officer Nitika Pawar (IAS:2012:AGMUT) to take up new assignment as Deputy Financial Advisor (Deputy Secretary level) in the Border Security Force (BSF), Chandigarh under the Ministry of Home Affairs. She served in UT administration as Secretary, Personnel & Establishment; Secretary, Social Welfare & Women & Child Development; Chairman, Child & Women Development Corporation and Chairman SC, BC & Minorities Financial & Development Corporation. Now her responsibilities are distributed between two IAS officers. Home Secretary Nitin Yadav (IAS:2000:HY) has been assigned the charges of Secretary, Social Welfare & Women & Child Development; Chairman, Child & Women Development Corporation and Chairman SC, BC & Minorities Financial & Development Corporation. Hargunjit Kaur(IAS:2013:PB) has been appointed Secretary, Personnel & Establishment.
