Chanchal Kumar gets additional charge of Secretary, Department of Telecommunication

Chanchal Kumar (IAS:1992:BH), currently serving as Secretary in the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region, has been given additional charge of Secretary, Department of Telecommunications. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (December 11, 2025), the competent authority has approved the assignment of additional charge of the post to Kumar from December 12, 2025 to December 21, 2025 during the period of absence on leave of Neeraj Mittal (IAS:1992:TN).
