Chhattisgarh IAS Officers’ Association has been reconstituted with senior bureaucrat Niharika Barik Singh being elected as its new President.
The 1997-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, Niharika Barik, currently holds the position of Principal Secretary for both the Department of Panchayat and Rural Development besides Department of Electronics & Information Technology.
She has held multiple key roles within the Government of Chhattisgarh. In the newly-constituted body, 2004-batch IAS officer Amit Kataria has been elected as Vice President and Rajat Kumar (2005-batch) as the Secretary of the Association.
Abhijeet Singh, an IAS officer of 2012 batch, is the new Treasurer of the Association. Niharika Singh has been authorized as the president to appoint the members of the new executive.
